How to do BTST trades at Tiqs?

At Tiqs, you can execute a BTST (Buy Today Sell Tomorrow) trade by purchasing a stock today with the CNC product type and selling the same stock tomorrow with the CNC product type.

  • A BTST trade is one in which you buy shares on Monday and sell them on Tuesday. Even if you do not sell the shares from your Demat, DP charges will be applied to BTST trades.
  • BTST trades have advantages and disadvantages.
  • BTST trades are not permitted on T2T (Trade-to-Trade) stocks or stocks subject to GSM or ASM (Graded surveillance measures) (Additional surveillance measures).

Note: While there may be some DP charges for BTST transactions, the benefits of ownership and transparency outweigh the costs in most cases.
