How can I verify Tiqs has passed the margin penalty I paid to the exchange?

The exchanges collect penalties from Tiqs for all clients, not for individual clients. As a result, you cannot share an acknowledgement from the exchange for the penalty you paid.

One of the most heavily regulated industries is brokerage. All brokers are subject to multiple audits, including internal (half-yearly) and external audits (carried out by the exchanges & SEBI). These audits include performing checks to ensure that a broker is not misusing client funds, such as charging a penalty and not passing it on to the exchange.

As brokers, we simply act as agents, collecting non-upfront penalties and passing them on to the exchange.
