What are the market timings?

The following are the market timings:

Equity

• Pre-market hours - 9:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
• Normal business hours - 9:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Post-market hours - 3:40 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

At 10:00 a.m., all new IPOs are listed on the exchange. On listing day, the pre-open session for IPOs is from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, when buy and sell orders are collected to help reduce volatility and improve price discovery.
