What is DigiLocker and how can I share documents using DigiLocker?

DigiLocker is an Indian government-backed digital locker service launched in 2015. It is a cloud-based platform that provides a secure and convenient way for citizens to store and access their personal documents, such as driving licence, PAN card, school certificates, etc., in an electronic format. DigiLocker helps reduce paper usage and provides quick access to important documents anytime and anywhere. The service is available free of charge to all citizens of India who have a valid Aadhaar number.The DigiLocker website can be accessed at https://digitallocker.gov.in.

To share documents via DigiLocker your Aadhaar number needs to be linked to your mobile number.Once you verify the mobile number linked with your Aadhaar number, your KYC documents will be uploaded to your Tiqs account.

Step 1: Click on connect now to start the process of linking your Digilocker account with Tiqs’s DigiLocker Wallet.

Step 2: Enter Aadhaar number

Step 3: Enter OTP received on Aadhaar linked mobile number

Step 4: Click allow to give permission

Your Aadhaar card and PAN card (if available) will be fetched automatically once you link your DigiLocker account to Tiqs’s DigiLocker wallet.
